Exhibition "Unseen Lithuania. 21st century" opens in Bucharest to celebrate 30th anniversary of the restoration of Lithuanian Independece
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the restoration of the Lithuanian Independence, on March 10 in the Romanian National Library was opened Marius Jovaiša photography exhibition "Unseen Lithuania. 21st century", celebrating both the beauty of Lithuania and its recent scientific and technological achievements.
Almost 100 guests - foreign diplomats, representatives of the Romanian institutions, businessmen, members of the Lithuanian community - were addressed by the H. E. Dr. Violeta Motulaitė, Ambassador of Lithuania, and Ms. Iulia Matei, Secretary of State of the Romanian MFA. National anthems were performed by the opera singers Mrs. Eglė Chisiu and Mr. Vasile Chișiu.
The exhibition is open for public until March 23 (Scriptorium Hall).
