Meetings in Cluj-Napoca initiated by the European Commission and the Royal Danish Embassy in Romania

Deputy Head of the Embassy Mr Erikas Petrikas participated in meetings initiated by the European Commission and the Royal Danish Embassy in Cluj-Napoca.

Deputy Head of the Embassy Mr Erikas Petrikas, at the invitation of the European Commission and the Embassy of Denmark, took part in the Heads of Mission (HoMs) meetings in Cluj-Napoca. During the visit, he met with the Mayor of Teiuș, M. Halalai, and visited the largest photovoltaic power plant in the region – a 60-megawatt facility established with the support of the European Union and the Kingdom of Denmark.

He also attended a business opportunities presentation at the Transylvania IT Cluster and ABC Incubator, where innovation ecosystems and potential areas for Lithuanian–Romanian technological cooperation were discussed.

In the meeting with the Mayor of Cluj-Napoca, E. Boc, discussions focused on investment prospects within EU member states and experiences in sustainable urban development.

A dialogue was also established with Professor A. G. Corpadean, Dean of the Faculty of European Studies, on strengthening academic cooperation between Lithuania and Babeș-Bolyai University.
