Nordic-Baltic Ambassadors meet Mr. Gheorghiță Vlad, Chief of Defence of Romania
The H.E. Mr Artūras Žurauskas, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Romania, organised a meeting of Nordic-Baltic Ambassadors with Mr Gheorheghiță Vlad, the Chief of Defence of Romania.
The meeting focused on several key topics, including the current security situation in the Black Sea region, the ongoing war in Ukraine, and the military support provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It also addressed the reforms within the Romanian Armed Forces and Romania's contributions to the security of the Baltic Sea region.
During the discussion, the H.E. Ambassador emphasized that Lithuania greatly values Romania's involvement in NATO air-policing missions. This participation enhances the security of Lithuania and the entire Baltic region. Strengthening this vital partnership further in security and defence policy is essential.
