Oaks partially replanted at the 100 Oaks Park in Bucharest
On 25 April, the staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania together with the volunteers has replanted a part of the trees in the 100 Oaks Park in Bucharest. In total, they have replaced 35 oaks damaged by the harsh weather conditions during winter.
The 100 Oaks Park, meant to simbolise the spiritual strenght of the people of Lithuania and Romania, was opened on 19 April, 2018 on the occasion of the celebration of 100th aniversary of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania and the Romanian Great Union Centennial.
The 100 Oaks Park is located in Tineretului Park, next to Oraselul Copiilor.
