The alley of Care city park was named after Lithuanian football player Arminas Narbekovas

On Friday, May 9th  in the Care city park (Satu Mare, Romania) representatives from the Department of Culture and Sports Municipality officially opened the project "Europe at home - Footballers of the European Union".

The project was launched last year, and is the symbolic naming of the alleys of the park surrounding the castle Karolyi with names of prominent figures from EU countries in order to deepen the knowledge of European values.

Last year, the alleys had panels with names of famous poets from EU countries, this year they have the names of the most famous footballers in the EU.

Each panel has a picture of a football player, details of the period during which he worked as a professional player, country flag and the QR code with which park visitors will be able to learn more about a player using their smart phone.
