Lithuanians from all around the globe will gather in Vilnius for the sixth World Lithuanian Economic Forum (WLEF) on July 7. Event participants will not only discuss economic and social progress of Lithuania, but will also seek ways how to achieve rapid and successful growth in the global market.  This year during the Forum most of the focus will be layed on two main topics – business and economy as well as education policy. Forum speakers will discuss the latest developments of Lithuanian economy and its potential in a fast-paced global environment, putting emphasis on country‘s business – its progress, success stories and lessons for the future.

Education – a crucial pillar to the development of Lithuania – will be under the focus of event participants from all over the world. Participants will adress today‘s biggest problems in this sector, sharing different experiences and offering novice solutions. The main message of the Forum – “Thoughts. Words. Deeds” – reflects the ambition to make this year’s event a Forum of change. Organizers expect participants not only to bring many new ideas and insights about progress and prospects of Lithuania,  but also to formulate specific recommendations, which could grow into real actions by the Government, business and society.

This yearly Forum is unique not only because of its courageous and determined attitude towards seeking the best solutions but also because of the strong sense of community that attracts the most successful entrepreneurs, business leaders, creators and active diaspora members. WLEF is the only event that simultaneously connects businesses with non-govermental sector and strenghtens the ties within the Lithuanian diaspora. This is a great opportunity to hear the voice of global Lithuanians and listen to their insights and experiences from all around the world.

Forum is organized by the Lithuanian Business Confederation in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Ministry of Economy of Lithuania, GLL | Global Lithuanian Leaders and Enterprise Lithuania.
